It's the sign of a desperate manager when he starts to turn on the supporters, especially those who are shelling out a lot of money to watch shit football.

Very soon the supporters will turn on him in more numbers than they are currently.

Yeah why should the supporters be positive when we’ve had to put up with crap performances for over a year now?

If only couple of performances yeah then it’s fickle but it’s been going on a long time.

He needs to stop talking crap and sort his own house out tbh and earn the fans praise again.

most seasons under Poch we usually find our pace around now. Trouble is our players are 4 years older and might be struggling to do what they used to. Gone from having the youngest squad for his 1st 3 years to being the 3rd oldest the last 2 seasons.

after his 1st season in the CL the press and pace has dropped off, it’s not like the europa where he was rotating heavier and I can only see it as conserving energy, an extra 6-8 games must take it’s toll. His 1st season in CL we failed to get out the group, the last 2 we have gone further.

if a team got to the final of both domestic cups and a CL final without any replays in the FA cup they would play 65 games (67 in Europa). We played 59 games last season, with most weeks having 6-7 players out injured and 2 or3 playing with knocks. We only fielded our strongest XI 4-6 games all season

You love an excuse lol

I fear it will be really embarrassing, like record breaking, result that will be next to our name on wikipedia forever type of score. Pochettino's Spurs already in the history books as having the worst defeat in UEFA competition by any English side on home soil EVER

I can see it being soon e.g after CL on Tuesday. The Liverpool game is made for a caretaker manager. And gives us time to sort out Jose / Allegri's contract. No one would want that for their first game in charge.
Mourinho would love it to be his first game

You will hear all the cliché from supporters and Internet warriors now that Pochettinho is clearly under pressure. I just hope we all just get behind the manager and club get through this period then come back all guns blazing ( in an ideal world)

If it is levy telling him they must play, it's just another example of poch having no plums.

Honestly don’t believe for a second that Levy is telling Poch who to play.

Playing players that don’t want to be here or are’nt pulling their weight is 100% down to Pochs stubbornness.

Shouldnt the ideal world have happened this week or last week or this season or last season?
Poch is a fake. He is a good fitness coach. He was a not bad man manager, thats out the window now too

your’re probably right on the burnout for Feb - May, but then the manager only seemed to use 14-15 different players and when you consider injuries, that probably went down to 12-13 different players.

we hardly fielded our strongest XI all season because of injuries

Again it’s true that Winks/Sissoko aren’t great defensively and yet Dier sits on the bench. Also Rose is so far from the player he was and yet Davies sits on the bench. Sanchez is supposed to be the future when Verts and Toby finally leave and yet he’s the first to-be dropped or replaced at half-time.

Dier is a weird 1, he missed the start due to surgery. has only played 2 games started in a back 3 v Colchester, 1st half of Brighton a DM, 2nd half in a back 3. think he might have taken Sanchez off because he was on a yellow. Davies played in both of Wales matches, Rose only played in 1

I’ve always been a big Poch fan, but he’s made what was a difficult situation with some players much worse than it should be.

Zero chance he leaves after the CL game.
If we lose that and get battered by Liverpool then some questions will start to be asked but right now given the credit poch has built with levy and the amount we’d have to pay to release him from his contract, he ain’t going anywhere anytime soon

agree, think it would take us being out of the cl and flirting with relegation for levy to do anything this season.

How could you settle for a boy like me....

How could you settle
For a boy like me
When all I could see
Was the end of the week
All the things we sign
And the things we buy
Ain't gonna keep us together
It's just a matter of time
