Think this is what most of us thought would happen when we got in this new stadium. It's never quite happened though, few patches with some good results but never a consistent run where we looked like we did in that final season at WHL.

Im still gobsmacked that Levy is actually going to agree to give him the budget he will be asking for. I would assume the money he asking for is in the same ball park as the AAA clubs. Maybe Levy wants to get us securely near the top before Newcastle start moving up the league.

From my short reading ‘round Conte’s approach to his players, it gives me hope that the likes of dele, Kane, n’dombele, glc and pretty much all those who’ve underperformed & are underdeveloped will have an opportunity for themselves & our club to be transformed… if it doesn’t work for them then it’s ??… the first time in 3+ years where a managers calibre such as Conte will be able to sort the wheat from the chaff…. So many positives will arise from his appointment..
