Can't help but think Conte is a workaholic who needs to work to feel sane. He might have gone to United, but the hierarchy there would undermine him from the off so he chose us, will sign a 18 month contract and go to Real to work with Mbappe after Ancelotti finishes the transition there.

It's a great coup for us, but it's still hard to understand how on earth we're getting Conte, a serial winner who leaves every club after row with the board.

Sessegnon had a very good goal record for Fulham for a wide player. He had that knack of appearing in the box and finishing well. I remember him scoring a few for Hoffenheim too. Could be one of the big winners under Conte if he can gain fitness and confidence.

Doherty also feels a good fit for similar reasons but I'm convinced he found a magic lamp or something, then lost it during the move down south.
