Hudd could play in a top side in a midfield 3 if the other 2 are happy to get stuck in. Maybe less so in the prem but the Italian League would really suit him. Best football I've ever seen Spurs play had him and Modric as the midfield pairing

Are you comparing Hudd to Pirlo? :D:woot:;)

Interestingly they did not play in midfield today Thudd played in a 442 formation.

He has always been a top player but has suffered badly from injuries. I said many times I doubt if he would ever be fit again but if he could get a full season in playing week in and week out he will be one of the top EPL midfield players. He does more with one kick than most of our 'athletic' midfield players do with all the miles they clock up going nowhere. Glad for him to play for a manager with belief in him but more am glad that he is staying fit.

Totally agree about the Modric, Thudd midfield!

Well done Tommy

Couldn't happen to a nicer mid table central midfielder

Getting back to form after those injuries now that he is playing week in week out. Had part to play in 4 of those goals and hit post once. If he is midtable midfielder, what does that make of likes of Paulinho?

Great that Thudd is doing well for himself in a team where he's the focal point. That being said, he's not better than any of our central midfielders, even if we're a dysfunctional team right now.

What are you basing this on?

Genuinely pleased for the Thudd, one of my favourite players in his time here. What a wonderful example to any kid, too. His goal drought was very fruitful for those who truly need it, the world needs more like him :)

Make a little virtual bet with you that by the time he retires 25 yr old Paulinho will have at least twice as many caps as Gilberto and have over 25 goals

Over 25 goals for Brazil? I'll take that any day of the week. He has 40 goals in his 216 games for clubs in all comeptitions, needs probably quite a lot of games to up from the 5 international goals he has now. On current ratio in international games it would actually take 96 more caps.
