Agree, I thought Hamilton had his nose Infront, but clearly doesn't.

He doesn't have to have his nose in front but he's clearly well up the side of Verstappen who would have seen him. The problem is, Hamilton picks up a load of dust on that line, and as a result his car understeers into the corner and won't hook up which means he drifts wide and clips Verstappen.

First start to an F1 race I've watched in years and this happens

From a non-avid F1 watcher point of view, I thought Lewis took the corner a bit wider than necessary.

I dont watch F1 but watching it today alongside the cricket simply because its to hot to go outside and get leg and arm fucked by the horny flyign ants...

I dont know F1 and dont know the rules but it looked to me like it was fair game for both to go and well it is simply a collision a slight clip. A 50/50 challenge as it were...

Wasn't Russell penalized yesterday for doing the same to Sainz?

Edit: 10-second penalty is incredibly soft considering Russell got a 3 place penalty.

I saw Harrison Ford there in the pits prior to the start and I presume he's there for Norris?

They may as well admit they want another champion.

Roles reversed and there’s no way the penalty is the same.

Leclerc has no luck this season.

Looks like the issue has been resolved.

Bottas needs to leave merc. He isnt good enough for the top team. he should have won that race but in the end got told to move a side.

Hamilton has exposed himself as a complete fraud, with all his high moral posturing and what have you. If he can't beat his competitor, he rams him of the track just like Schumacher used to do.
That was almost an attempt at murder. Verstappen suffered 51G on impact - it's a miracle his brain is still intact. A Black Flag would have been the only fitting penalty.

I dont know anything about F1, I watched it today but what did Lewis do that he shouldnt have done? Im not seeing what he was supposed to do, is the 'rule' that as Verstappen is ahead of him that he should let him go first so to speak?

Imo he should of backed out slightly as soon as he knew he wasn’t going to make the corner as he was supposed too, but that said it’s a split second decision that is being made at 200mph

If you go full speed into a tight corner, you know that you are going to run wide later on and move in on the person outside of you. That is just no way to drive into that bend. His claim that he was ahead is in this case just spurious bullshit.
And its a reckless move. They were going at very high speeds and he willingly took the risk he would career into a competitor. He did the same to Leclerc later on btw. Shame on Hamilton. A suspension is definitely in order.
