You're very sneaky Mr 9, but I think I've got it.

The Queen's Nose, right?

Which makes it Gary Mabbutt

Indeed.

And for those who are not as acquainted with the Queen's Nose as I am (as it were), here's the video of the first series. You could watch it all if you want or you could skip to about 1 hour and 31 minutes in for Gary's starring role.

Jossies Giants

Made me feel really old that it took so long for someone to get it!

For those of you too young to remember, it was a TV program about a kid's football team, and the quote was from the theme tune:

Who was the "Ceefax striker" who scored the winner in an FA Cup tie for Wycombe against Leicester?

So named because Wycombe were in the midst of an injury crisis and advertised for a striker on Ceefax, gave said player a trial because he answered the ad, and signed him just days before the cup tie.

You were quick! Roy Essandoh is right, did sod all else in a journeyman career but was in the right place at the right time that day.
We had a great piss up with the Wycombe fans in my local after that one. That's why I remember his name.

Who did we sign Noureddine (Yeah But, No But) Naybet from in 2004? (Fucking loved that bloke. Put some steal back in the defence)
