Same old shit with England. Doesn't really matter how bad your form is (Pickford, Maguire) or how good it is (Grealish).

Wonder what England could achieve with an actual football manager in charge. Why do we have to have two right-backs on the field at all times? His team selection is the worst I’ve seen in my whole life of watching football.

Which is all the more baffling because Southgate initially was picking on form.

It’s high time the press turned the heat up on him he’s been coasting along living off that World Cup run for a long time. Previous managers never got this amount of leeway.

I have seen worse. Keegan in particular was a terrible England manager.
