Being a Spurs fan and therefore pessimistic - I'm not liking the sound of this.

I'm not normally pessimistic but I do feel like we're on a particularly pessimsitic run of ITK which is worrisome ahead of a huge summer where one would expect all goals are positivity.

Based on the ITK about Poch's contract, what is the feeling about which way this is going? He has three years on his contract still, and it has been said that Spurs want to offer him a new contract. I suspect that he would really like a very long contract and backing for the players he wants. It will depend if Levy actually invests to speculate on the talent Poch wants.

Surely Eriksen is one of those looking for assurances, and who can blame him really. Will be very interesting to see if he and Poch sign new deals in the coming weeks/months, it sounds like that would be a fairly strong indication that we intend to be ambitious in the market this summer (but then how many times have we heard that?).

A large proportion will probably be BS fed from agents camps trying to get their players a larger piece of earnings pie, which to be fair, I think all of us think the key players and manager deserve anyway.

I'm not reading much into the Eriksen stuff. The Poch ITK sounds very credible to me. We've been here with umpteen managers and Levy still doesn't seem to learn from the past and the simple fact is that Poch's tone has totally changed in the past month and he sounds a lot less committed.

I can imagine us sitting here two years from now reading an interview with new Real Madrid manager Pochettino as he describes how in his previous job he asked for targets but got given something else and didn't feel he was given the necessary backing!

Sigh. Levy has done so much for the club but he just doesn't seem to understand that some of his approach has a negative impact. He needs to recognise when he's on to a good thing, especially now with the season ticket prices going up so much. If he lets this manager and team fall aprt he's going to have a lot of angry fans. He needs to look at Arsenal for examples of that.

Especially given that we often look average when he's not playing or having an off day. He's just as important as Kane IMO.

I see the roller coaster is on a downward spiral, chill guys, we've just seen our club on the rise for the last few years. Do you really think Levy, Poch and the players are all going to screw it up just as we enter a brand new stadium??

ITK are rumours, it's 2nd, 3rd and 4th hand info. Save your emotions for announced stuff and enjoy the early info, it will save your mood and emotions not to get too het up by ITK, it's great but don't let it affect your day

Agree. In fact, it would be a double blow because imo it's essential this summer that we bring another player in like Eriksen as he is not enough on his own and if he were to get injured we'd be totally fucked.

He could just as easily be signing a new contract though, so let's not get our knickers in a twist just yet...........although the news that Iniesta is no longer going to be playing for Barca is slightly worrying to me.
