So every single time there is a link in the press to one of our players its automatically down to Levy being stingy then?
Seems logical.

I didn’t say every time.

Please don’t tell me you’re so naive to think everything is hunky dory?

There’s a reason one of the best CBs in the world is going to leave this summer...

The ITK said Levy’s usual tricks and we all know what that means.

I wasn't aware the transfer window is opening mid May does that mean it will close during the world cup or is it just that they realise no world cup players will be dealing with tramsfers?
As for buying players before the world cup, if we do we must have been involved in negotiations already so that

ITK said Toby and his representatives moved the goalposts, Poch supported him in what he wanted they went to Levy who looked favourably on it then Toby wanted more and extra conditions.

Not naive at all mate, just not gullible enough to take it all so seriously, pinch of salt and all that.

PSG are in no position to pay 100m for anyone. They are committed to paying approx 160m for Mbappe And have problems with FFP and are probably looking to unload one or two.
Our wages went up 25m last season which is 25% and will no doubt increase further with this seasons rise in turnover.

Sounds horrendous doesn't it.

Can see it now. 3 or 4 previously first team players leaving, us having to get 5 or 6 in and only managing half scrambling on the last day of the window.

I think the reality of our wage structure issues are setting in now. Let's be honest this has been bubbling beneath the surface for years.

hasnt there been ITK the wage structure will change as soon as we move to the new groud?

It does close before the season starts this year - August 9.

FIFA rules require 12-week window - hence it opens on May 17

ETA - players can still be sold until August 31.

For me, Levy has ballsed up enough times on transfers that you can't argue with a default position of assuming Levy's being a dick.

Must be doing something right though. New Stadium, New Training Ground, successful team whose players are coverted by one and all, and a Manager who is wanted by all the top clubs when they are making managerial changes.

Yeah, but other than that, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Wish I'd ignored this thread this morning, Eriksen makes us tick, when he's on song we win, normally battering the opposition in the process. What with Poch & now Eriksen.
Levy ffs :cautious:

Yeh its not good...I heard that Levy has unfriended both Poch and Christian on Facebook.....FFS

As usual I welcome the start of the transfer window fun and games but in all honesty I expect much the same as previous windows with half decent but nothing too much to get excited about signings.

Re: the Eriksen ambiguity from Herc's post, if you're not expecting bad news you're not Spurs-ing properly. A lifetime of conditioning as a Tottenham fan should leave you with no gut feeling other than impending disaster, regardless of what the actual truth is.
