Just to clarify 1 thing... The club will absolutely not change its transfer policy, nor will we sign 20m players when we get a new stadium. That is a myth.

Its a rant by one person and their opinion on how a company is run with limited funds in certain areas. The club is a well run business that believes in the product so they do business hard. Clubs piss money away on players and their wages and we dont and havent for a long time, we lie a home win against united from 3rd place and we have a strong line up. The fact is that we buy young talented footballers who use Spurs as a route to the big boys. Noone stays at clubs their whole careers so why throw money at 30+ pros unless its reasonable, you dont buy cars this way

Thanks for posting the Jasper ITk, always like to hear the opinions of those close to the club. I'm not putting too much weight on this though. In one comment he says AVB wants Moutinho or Willian this window or he'll be let down. In another AVB says he'll be happy with a defensive midfielder and striker, along with Holtby. Keep a truthful man talking for a long time and they won't contradict themselves because they can't. I think this is just an interpretation by Jasper and he's been listening to the gossips.
DL (and others) negotiate on transfers? Thank goodness for that, the last time he didn't we got Bentley for way more than he was worth. We could be like liverpool and buy Downing, Carroll and Henderson for inflated fees too. Agents are peeved? That's great news. Are we surprised we're struggling to buy Moutinho? How much did hulk go for? They don't need to compromise. And Willian? There's no imperative to sell. AVB is intelligent, he knows this.
Finally, in any workplace there's always politics. When the stakes are as high as they are in football you'll get even more machiavellian gossip and back stabbing, especially from agents who would like to see their manager/player move to a club. So long as AVB and DL keep talking it'll all blow over. Storm in a teacup but good to have the ITK.
