Look let's be honest, we're going to be hard pushed to get top 4. Win the Champions League. We might have a pop at the FA Cup.

So why not have a couple of month's of madness with Mario, whilst we have a summer to refresh and re-invigorate the side to have a proper go next season.

All aboard the Balotelli express!

Balotelli? Fucking hell.

Amazon would love that wouldn’t they.

FFS. Can’t we just get a workhorse from the Championship or something.

If we had to take one of these strikers at least mad mario isn’t playing at his current level based upon ability. If you can get him fired up he is capable absolutely destroying teams

Like who though? No chance the likes of Fulham are letting players like Mitrovic go on the cheap when they’re battling for promotion. Not a hope in hell.

dragon1: this was player i refered to earlier today (balotelli) jose had him at inter and thinks he is crackers though but club are open and brescia are skint

we have 4 options now, giroud, balotelli , lloriente and one orther who looks united bound now

honestly it probably depends what mood jose wakes up in tomorrow and whether he wants any of them on loan

none of the top tier strikers are available this window and jose does not want players for sake of it

he also says @Hercules info is good
I'm with Jose.

Striker roulette...

I think we’ll go for someone that we haven’t been linked with yet.

What year is this?!
Another Twin Peaks quote. Which is apt as things are taking a slightly weird and surreal turn. I would say we just need a backwards talking dancing dwarf but I think we already have him in charge.

Giroud - Can't see Chelsea selling him.
Llorente - One year older. But we know what he's about.
Balotelli - Idiot. But a Idiot who is still scoring every other game he plays.

Safe option is Llorente but I doubt he will be effective for 2nd season running.
Balotelli will give goals. At the same time, we have to be mentally prepared he could get a red in first 5 minutes of a big game.

I think i'd prefer Giroud over Ballotelli, I think there's alot less risk invloved unless Ballotelli is just for 6 months.

It's tough though, I feel like Ballotelli could either be brilliant or toxic. He's got a terrible track record hence why he's never lived up to his brilliant young potential and ability. If he had put his head down and sorted out his temperament as a teenager he'd possibly be one of the best strikers in the world right now.

After shifting the likes of Rose and Eriksen this window we've relieved a huge load of negative energy in the changing room, i'm just hoping Ballotelli doesn't make it 2 steps forward 1 step back.

Dragons info is solid, Llorente is DL one.
The others mentioned earlier (Benteke apart who is a no!). JM keen on any of the 4/5. It is down to DL doing the deals, and all viable. I call it as it is either way. Let’s wait and ?

NB: Not keen on Llorente due to fitness conditions concerns

I would go for Llorente - even a lamp post up front would help us... we just need someone to stand there to highlight where the fuckin goal is rather than our forwards runnign around headless with no focal point.

Will be interesting to see tomorrow. I wouldnt bet against Llorente particularly if Giroud goes to Napoli

My god.

Balotelli, Giroud or Llorente. I think I’m the only person on here who LOVES THEM ALL.

Okay I don’t love Giroud. My love order would be Nando > Mario > Giroud

My preference for signing them would be Giroud > Mario > Nando

But in honesty I’d be happy with any of those on a 6-18 month deal. Encouraging stuff.
I’d rather not get Llorente back as it would seem a very backwards step, someone different would be good as part of the re-build.

giroud is class but can’t see Chelsea selling, balotelli is a proper random one but it would be good for the amazon documentary if nothing else ?

there is still hope but we all know how this usually ends and if we don’t sign a strike even someone as a 6months stop gap that’s pretty criminal really.

awsome ITK today and throughout the window, thank you all.

Llorente is starting to feel like the safe bet. Like others have said, the sadistic side of me wants balotelli. Imagine signing him in time for city on Sunday!
