Slightly concerned at the ITK trickling in today. Yesterday it seemed certain we'd get a striker and now it appears confidence has wavered.

I assume this is all linked to Piatek, which was obviously a risk to pin our hopes on given that Milan wanted to sell him and we didn't want to buy him!

Unless we are happy to write the season off, we really do need to get someone in. The manager has been really clear on that, and it's there for all to see. The lack of a striker is putting such pressure on the rest of the team, to either not concede a solitary goal or to convert chances at a much higher striker rate than they are capable of.

Clearly we are looking for a short term solution with a loan deal. So many opportunities will arise 2moro as clubs will start to get desperate to release players to reduce wages etc, plus agents working overtime. I reckon it’s likely we are waiting until 2moro to see what occurs.
