Ive learnt that with my new digging technique, the info is not as reliable as I'd hoped.

Heres to taking a back seat from now on

For the record though......There was an awful lot of people with a very high standing in the game ready to go with the story "Leandro Done"

Something mustve happened

Cheers for the info this window Ryan. Hope you got the rest of that marker pen off.

Re LD

@Fernando_Duarte: The deal stalled because Inter-RS wanted more money so they would soften blow of sending 30% of fee to feeder club that still owns rights.

I have been lurking for a about 5 years, finally joined a few windoows back. And I have to say yesterdays Window was the funniest I have witnessed. Some of you really need to see someone. The Mood Swings, the downers, the ones on Suicide watch. Pure Gold!
We can argue til the cows come home, What happened, Happened (Or didn't happen in last nights case) I would of liked a new Striker last night, But I have no idea on how to run a premiership club, so i'l leave it to the guy who obviously does. If it wasn't for Levy in my opinion we would of been in a lot of trouble. Don't forget the last 2 Chairmen.

COYS

i wish i did not care as much as i do sometimes............and i know my wife wishes i cared less. But Tottenham is part of my make up and therefore i can't deny it effects my mood. I spend a lot of money each season following Spurs and feel i have the right to feel down in the dumps about things!!!

We are counting on Ade coming back in the form we saw last year..............does anyone think he will?

With Holtby behind him I think he will.

Hopefully we'll see a VdV + Ade-esque relationship with Holtby + Ade.

Ade's participation in the ACN will hopefully have gotten his confidence and form back. I think his going there may be a blessing in disguise.

I don't give a flying Fuck about Villa. There's only one club that I care about. I don't even know any Villa fans so beyond a little bit of schadenfreude it doesn't help me or Spurs that Villa are in the shit. In fact I'd rather the premier league were full of big sides like Leeds & villa rather than mini-chelseas like Fulham & Wigan, so I don't especially want to see them go down.

C'est La Vie, Holtby looks good, shame about a striker but hopefully Ade will be back soon and with more confidence!

I for one am happy we did not spend big money on these so-called signings in January. As for the LD deal, if and its a big if that it was close surely Daniel will work on that between now and the summer making sure there are no further issues with payments, work permits or ownership rights. LD will (hopefully) will be in the country next week with Brazil so why not pop down have a word and invite him to our ground/training facility to give him a taste of what we represent.

Of course you have the right. but i think its part of Spurs fans make up to be negative. I remember us 10 years ago and we are light years away from that. I never want to go back to watching us get thumped 4-1 at home by Nottm Forest without a whimper. With or without our new striker, we are now competitive. So surely Levy has done something right?

Yeah he has done a lot of good at the club, no denying that

Can we just all agree on one thing?

There is NO SUCH THING as "Levy Time"

It's a shame we didn't get a forward that we so desperately need. But we are still a top 7 side.

I just look at Villa and worry about our summer. Without Bale/Sandro and Dembele our team is pretty ordinary at the moment. Lose two of those and it's a big worry

It is a shame that we couldn't get in Leandro as he would have been a massive upgrade on Defoe. Anyway, we have got to 4th with only two strikers and with the extra creativity Holtby gives us hopefully we can stay in the CL positions.

Misfit, I have paid up.

I've just started a thread on the merits or otherwise of having Twitter in here next summer. Feel free to post your onions on it in there :)

There are still plenty of windows open so Bentley may well fancy a trip abroad again. Maybe Bulgaria this time...Serbia...Poland...and so on.

At the end of the last window some of the ITK was explained to us, like Plan D was Dembele and Dempsey. Would we be able to get anything like that explained to us this time round?

We have been hoodwinked yet again by our chairman same ploy 2 windows running, I feel very sorry for avb talked into a job and as yet not supported by his boss he must feel let down.

I hope he stays with us for next season but can understand if he chooses to walk away and find a club that spends money to support his ideas etc.

I trust mr levy is still up counting all the money saved I hope he is well, I would imagine that some on here will give me neg rep but today I dont care as so fucking pissed off I can see 4th spot going now a real opportunity missed

What we don't know is if AVB declined the players offered to him by Levy and if so fair play to him. I'm not the biggest Levy fan though have to say we are in much better shape than when he took over all those years. What gets me is that I'd rather go for players that we have a realistic chance of getting - I was so annoyed with the Leandro link yesterday, how much time and energy is spent chasing these types of players time and time again. For example I would have loved Berba for 3m in the summer and I would have loved him in this window, I don't want us to go after the 20m players if we are not willing to pay so much for them. Let's be realistic in our approach and targets and not dismiss the likes of Michu (last summer) because he is not a big name (ref Tim Sherwood). We would all benefit from a far more calm and enjoyable transfer window :)
