A&C, as you know, I've donated twice in the last week or so. I'm in hospital for an operation in a fortnight, this will free up more funds due to the fact that I'll not be able to get out to spend any money :(. So, if you can hold out until the end of the month, I'll donate more then (y)
On the one hand i'm sorry to hear that you'll be in hospital, on the other, i'm thinking maybe if the surgeon fucks up you might spend more time in there thus increasing the donation. I'm torn. ;) No, not up there (although it wouldn't be the first time)..........

~good luck fella and thanks for the donations!

I personally wouldn't mind seeing a very aggressive 4-3-3 with Holtby at the back and Dembele + <new> on offence. We all pulled our hair out last season over frustrating results against the likes of QPR and Wigan but AVB showed that in short/appropriate bursts an offensive minded guy at the back (Huddlebro) could really help spurs unleash offensively.

So for example start with the standard 4-3-3:

Sandro

Holtby - Dembele

If we are 2-0 up then simply move to a 4-2-3-1 with Dembele - Sandro playing deep (like we did this season). If spurs are in need of a goal (e.g. 0-0 against Wigan), shift to:

Holtby

Dembele - Eriksen (example)

Holtby has the enthusiasm to defend well and covers a lot of ground, he also plays quick tempo football which would help the players in front of him get on the ball earlier (in dangerous positions).

in short, if Parker was to go I wouldn't mind seeing Bernard/Eriksen/Pjanic etc brought in and Sandro->Holtby->Youth be the DM rotation.

Holtby has the enthusiasm: true, but he fouls a lot

You've made me hard

And your prize is a dryhumping from TSH with wetwipes supplied FOC. None of that cheap shit either, proper Johnson's ones. Please PM him to claim......

I was trying to work out FOC... my first thought was "full of.......(something I probably can't write on a work computer but either rhymes with 'mock' or 'mum')" which, albeit an odd thought, is completely in keeping with what A&C would probably have in mind...

(I later realised it probably meant free of charge)

I think some of his fouls thus far have been an inability to work out just how heavy the PL is. It gets talked up for being tough and so he comes here and starts throwing his weight around only to give away fouls. I fully expect his fouling to diminish this season as he adjusts to the league.

The only good thing about Gareth Barry is that he is actually a Spurs fan...and that's about it :p

IF (and i hope not), AVB fucks off to Paris or Madrid, how about Laudrup as replacement? :cautious:

Am I alone in starting to get that horrible inevitable feeling in the pit of my stomach that Bale might actually go? :nailbiting:

Coops, have a safe operation and a successful re-coop-eration.......(y)

And Good Morning Sum, know you love morning pleasantries ;)

agreed that he might not be fully adapted to PL. I remember I looked at some stats on his time at schalke04, he did make quite a bit of fouls when he defends.

How is it off topic? News is Parker may be off and I said I wouldn't mind a slight reshuffle which results in bringing in a more offensive player.

This is the "ITK discussion thread" not "Who should we replace that player with discussion thread", there are player threads for that kind of discussion.

What is Holtby best position?? Box to Box or attacking midfield?

Last season when both Dembele and Holtby are on, they both tend to drift left and becomes predictable, coupled with a not so good left back, we keep losing the ball and hit a wall....... we need some drive from midfield down the right side and send accurate passes down the right flanks for Lennon and Walker to cross or run at defenders.

I hope AVB stays but if PSG are getting rid of Ancelotti there is a decent replacement there for AVB

Read the earlier posts in this thread, mate. There's pretty clear instruction by multiple MODS, to take Parker 'discussion' to the Parker thread. Maybe you should suggest trying to do a deal that would involve Parker & Remy exchanging clubs, then that would allow you the opportunity to chat about that offensive player. ITK has suggested QPR would be interested in Parker, so you'd actually be sticking to an 'ITK discussion', rather than a 'Parker discussion' (y)

Right, I donated but it was only a fiver as I am super-skint. So instead of the usual 'reach-around', what does that get me? A gentle blowing on my starfish?
