I've been watching ITK threads on SC since 2006, more of a lurker than a poster, however just wanted to let you all know that I have donated for the first time. about 25% of my internet time ends up on this site, so I think it's long overdue that I made a contribution. I encourage all of you who have also been taking this site and particularly the ITK section for granted to do the same. 1. because I'd be too lazy to look elsewhere for this info should the site ever be shut down, and 2. It's a laugh Innit!. Props to the people who run the site and make it happen. Also this message is proof that your little Goat pop up reminder to donate works. Cheers!

in the absence of ITK cloaked in the realms of internet pseudonyms, this is as good as it gets.

So why has the one journo matey with Andre filed a story with the headline 'PSG will pay £10m for Villas Boas' ?

Because headlines are often written by sub-editors or the editor in chief, not the reporter. They have to sell papers, after all. The journo will type up his story with a tentative headline and the editors will cut it and add their own headlines.
