I would go as far to say the Lloris deal is dependent on Gomes leaving so if we can recoup a fair amount for him, say circa £5million then job's a good'un!

I could be wrong but think Gomes has very little left on his contract. Not sure we'll get back much if /when he is
sold.

I concur. This really seems like the best move for us and Gomes.

gotta remember that they used to be fucking good.

Chelsea and Arsenal have the prestige of having CL but Liverpool were really good in the early 2000s, won a CL. That gained them a lot of support from this generation, and for those who aren't familiar with English football like Huntelaar they're more prestigious than us.

That's a very good explanation. Especially the outside of the UK part.

I don't really follow German football at all. If someone said right now who are the biggest clubs in German football, I could only base it on my limited historical knowledge & experience of German football so I would say Bayern, Dortmund quite confidently then I'd be in guess territory and say maybe Schalke, Leverkusen and Stuttgart.

A German football fan who follows that league in detail every year could baulk at that attempt by myself buts its the best I could offer.

A famous name/brand can get you quite far and because LFCs is very strong it means we'll be able to get players who we shouldn't really be able to get given were we are in the pecking order in English football currently.

maybe not but guessing hes on a fair wage and quite often its the wage bill we need to trim rather than raising the transfer funds

Why POTL needs to use colours at all about players like Lloris, Adebayor, LD or MVila is the question. Players all heavily linked and discussed widely in all medias.

We all understand necessary subterfuge, it's the unnecessary stuff that frustrating and gets everyone wasting time and testicles (A&C).

Maybe he's autistic or something-the Andy Warhol of Spurs message boards. Cut him some slack, Mr Grouchy.

llorente isn't in the Bilbao squad tonight though

Shame he have gone cold. Seems Juve have given up to, wouldnt suprise me if he end up at Arsenal or Liverpool. Still have a little hope Levy will get him in close to transfer deadline as he wants out, but guess thats more a dream than anything.
