Agree totally, with a heavy heart Thudd just isn't good enough at present and hasn't been since coming back from injury. Its a real shame as he was doing so well and I've got a soft sport for him. If the supposed interest in him is true then selling him for circa £6m (I believe this was the figure being banded around) and bring in Diame for £3.5m then we have upgraded the squad and made a profit. Now if that isn't Levyesque I don't know what is!

Plus Holtby..... Then we have quality back up in the midfield and some mix of play when needed.

Yes he could, he did that last season for Schalke.

haha how true. Last season Holtby played as a defensive midfielder, offensive midfielder , standard central mid, left wing, even as a left back on a couple of occasions if memory serves!!

Yup but his best position is in the middle as AM followed by CM.
