After the late night ITK last night, this thread needs refreshing for those who follow the ITK and not the spam so here's a fresh one.​

Anyone contemplating self harm after reading Jasper's info should PM SC's resident Padre, nicdic for free on the spot counselling. Remember SC's mantra. Take it with a pinch of salt. Lets not be bipolar here. If there's ITK saying we're signing Messi or something people are cartwheeling and high fiving all over the place and when it's bad news we get cliff jumpers and heads are firmly jammed into gas ovens (although one or two members forget to light them). Lets wait and see how it pans out. Until Feb 1st.​

I've seen a few people say that they will be hugely pissed off with Levy if we haven't signed anyone by Feb 1st, then change that to the end of the season. This after the Moutinho affair in the summer. Then people were saying 'if we don't sign him in January we'll know'.........That's a bit like loving a bird who treats you like shit, always with the second, third and fourth chances.​

It's all a bit sensational and I don't buy all of it, but i'd bet at least three labia's and 12 testicles that there's some of it that's on the money or close enough. I think Levy quite rightly has credit in the bank for some of the things that he's done, but I also think that he's getting dangerously close now to getting overdrawn.​

Still, we all have a bit of the fickle lemming in us. One big signing and bald is cool again. February the 1st.​

Then late last night, after Jasper's info and in response to someone having a pop........

This is why i stop posting as people just want good news all the time and think i have an agenda and i can reassure you that i dont, not anti avb or anti Levy just telling you how it is. By the way we have done transfers by committee at spurs for the last 5 years or so. Jaspers info had to come out eventually.

Maybe, but only thing jj actually confirmed was that transfers were done by committee.

I'd have been happier if he'd addressed jaspers implied point that avb's only targets all cost in excess of 20m, which don't seem right. Our biggest purchase is still only 16m don't forget.

To RJ1882 in response to you thinking it would be a blessing in disguise if defoe got slightly injured today to spark some kind of action - I used to think that way, secretely thinking it wouldn't be so bad if we lost or someone got injured to force Levy's hand. Didn't Jasper say that AVB wanted a striker for less than 10M? Or have I misread that (it's 5am here!)?

Besides, if he wants one or two specific players to complete our team, it's really not a surprise that they'd cost 20M plus. I mean, start with the ones we know - Willian and Moutinho. We're at that level now.

That's the issue - some people believe we are, some don't. As others have pointed out, our record transfer is only £16.5m.

We, as fans, would like to believe that we are, regardless of whether we actually want Mouts, Willain or whomever. But the phrase is that "Money talks" and we are noticeably quiet...
