Yes, I share some of your concerns. Baldini was brought in after Villas Boas, with an understanding they'd work well together and were happy to do so. I'm not as sure Tim will be happy with that long-term, and if we are going to look for a more experienced manager in the summer to replace Timmy, whether or not they're happy to work under Baldini will influence or restrict our choice. For example, the talk of Van Gaal led me to think he'd be highly unlikely to want to work under a director of football (not that I'd want Van Gaal as our manager).
I wonder if Franco's stay at The Lane might not be all that long.
