I've stayed level headed though out the day. I'm still hoping for a striker (anything of note). I think there's plenty of options, but if we bring anyone in, I hope it has the approval of AVB.

To build on my prior post on Suter.
There needs to be a serious re-evaluation as who we consider ITK and who goes in the RO. Too many 'ITKs' way off of the mark too many times for my liking.

I guess I should of taken any with a pinch of salt and listened to the ones with a good track record e.g JJ

Im sorry but the guy in charge of Inter said yesterday that Damiao is available this window so SkySports have got the wrong info,
weather we agree the right price is another matter

Why do people get so up and down ? We know that something will happen late on. We have a super team and in all honesty we are lacking an extra man up front. I am sure it will be addressed. Quality not quantity.

People ought to lay off levy, he's been brilliant for this club, remember where we were when he arrived. Our summer signings were very impressive and good january signings are all but impossible without paying ludicrous money. I'm sure he's well aware we need another striker, but he's not going to bet the whole farm. He will have a budget and stick to it, that's why we're financially sound.

Just to be clear on my own view, I'm not really criticising Levy. He's been a brilliant chairman that has worked wonders in recent years. These fake bids (and yes that's exactly what I think they are) are a necessary evil from his point of view. He's trying to maintain the illusion that we're financially capable of competing for players like Leandro or Moutinho, which makes us a more attractive option to managers like AVB, and players like Vertonghen and Lloris.

I imagine if Levy was completely transparent about the real limitations of the club I suspect we'd be nowhere near the top 4, with a much weaker squad. Its all part of a calculated game however, like I said in a previous post, that game only works when the wool is still over everyone's eyes. After this window it won't be anymore, and it could backfire spectacularly if AVB and key players decide they've been given a false statement of intent.

'Inter do not want to sell this window' shouldn't we have figured that out on the 1st Jan with an enquiry? FFS Spurs. Levy sort this mess out.

Every club says they don't want to sell. It doesn't make it true.

You watch in about a couple of hours 'breaking news from tottenham' 'sky sources are lead to believe that the leandro deal is back on.' Really wouldn't surprise me
