IIRC this situation has cropped up before. They just announced the deal and did the shirt thingy a day or two later. Or took the pics at the lodge but held on a day or two. Something like that.

I'd be happy enough with a floating head wearing a Spurs beanie hat, and a caption underneath saying "body and kit coming soon..."

Was never going to be an announcement today nor can I see one on Sunday with Wimbledon final, will be either tomorrow or Monday spurs will announce Paulino and any extras, spurs will want to be in the limelight to signal out intent to silence the doubters and get the attention of Europe that spurs are building something special for this season!

Just back from holiday and haven't had a chance to get on so just caught up with all the ITK. Sounding like Paulinho is done, sure he'll be fantastic for us. However, the ITK which got me most excited was regarding Halilovic. This kid could get into our first team now IMO. He will go onto become one of the top talents in the world. Really hope JJ's info is spot on. These are the sort of players we should be going for. Definitely worth the risk, although its a very un-Levy like thing to do.

So they can't announce it tomorrow cos the British Lions are playing/Ladies final at Wimbledon, Sunday is out because of the Mens final, there a full round of county championship cricket matches on Monday, plus the Widnes Vikings are away to the Wakefield Wildcats so that's out, Tuesday sees the Somerset bodkin and codpiece throwing county finals and Wednesday is the Ashes which takes up another five days.

I believe the next day without some sort of sporting event being held which might steal our thunder is July 27th and a half, but there is even a question mark over that as that date is reserved for a possible replay of the Newquay bearded lollipop ladies bogie flicking championship grand final.

And after that, well, August 31st, five minutes before the window closes is free. Unless City sign Ronaldo in which case we're fucked. Can't see Danny having that.
