Agree. I don't think Benny particularly cares about prestige, they will match his wages I imagine. Might be that top teams aren't willing to take a punt on him because of his injury concerns. Harry is probably like "Medical? Why, has he got the flu?"

In a window in which we have already spent over 100m, smahed our transfer record 3 times and yet still broken even, all bets are off. Thats why.

Me, cant see who is in that bracket and realistic. But i wouldnt rule out anything anymore.

If Baines is in the market then Man Utd will be getting their stink all over him. Just can't see us 1) Outbiding them 2) him choosing to join us over them 3) him wanting to leave Everton for a non CL team.

For the money Baines would cost I'd rather throw it at Coentrao or just get Pereirra and then use the change somewhere else.

Because levy has now spent the Bale money ....

so we have broken even. which means we havent spent anything... obviously a simplification because wages etc.. but Bale money wasnt our TV/revenue transfer budget that we would have started the window with

I doubt if we wil get much ITK until late in the day. We have had some early stuff with aims in mind but I guess now it's a case of wait and see what happens. During this window it has been a case of when one door (or should that be window) shuts another opens so maybe there is still one last surprise.
