Mourinho won't bother with someone like Bernard, he'd go straight for Isco.
As if they need another central AM anyway, just buying players so other teams don't get them. Fuckers.

Or a very bad portrait artist.
Modric?
Was as secret as you'll get. I don't think we knew until it was reported by The Sun in the early hours one day.
Newcastle were also trying to sign him. Wenger had rejected him on the basis he thought he was too weak for the prem. He wasn't under the radar, we were just the the first/best team to be prepared to pay 16m for him and give him the salary he wanted.
Chelsea and Mourinho are far too well stocked with promising, and well... beyond promising attacking midfielders.
Mourinho will want proven players and giant uber men; the last thing in the world he'll want is a 5"4 midget child Brazilian playmaker.

Oh for fuck's sake, Modric, widely lauded as one if the best players in the world in his position, makes sense to Mourinho.
He doesn't operate on the level of promising youngster, especially since he has a raft of similar young players for AM. He will buy winners and solid pros.
Mourinho going to Chelsea is great news for our transfer prospects, and bad for our top 4 chances.
The Bernard deal has got Chelsea hijack written all over it.
I'd be happy with just Villa and Bernard this window - Not being too greedy? I would prefer two more additions but hey ho.
If its a loan for Villa, does that make it a mortgage?Villa on perm or loan?
