Depressing (but unsurprising if true) re Rossi. They would be mad to sell him.

Hi everyone just want to say that this is why I love being a Spurs fan, you can go away for a fortnights holiday and not miss a single thing, as far as I can see we are exactly where we were when I left two weeks ago.

Your man Ackqid or whoever clearly and unequivocally said Adebayor and Diarra today. He can't rely on the usual "I got fed the wrong information / I thought they were in talks" excuse. Will he eat the humble pie?

Would really love Adebayor, Diarra (as a replacement for Palacios should he leave) and Samba as a replacement for Bassong. I really like Bassong, and still think he has great potential, but he has made it clear he wants to leave, and Samba is a beast of player - cant remember the last giant defender we had - davenport?

Also Damiao sounds interesting. Would like to have a young Brazilian international at the club. Like most i guess, i could stomach him arriving in Jan IF we had a new shiny striker, but if no one arrives, then i will be desperate to get the Samba man in before Sept 1st

I'm not getting my hopes up, To many times we've heard this about various players this last few months only to then hear the player has gone elsewhere or turned us down.

If he doesn't play then perhaps this will be a good sign.

Never seen this guy play but would good if he is any where near as good some think!!!

Rossi looks a monster after what I saw last night but mainly because Real look a great team... Imagine if an arab took over them and bought them a defence they would be incredible...

Most of what Ben has called seams to of come off this window... I think we are right to chase Adebayor and Rossi as long as we have back ups... They could be amazing for us...

He did not say that as ITK at all. He said they were both near and hoped it would be today (clearly said it was his opinion/guess).

On the flip side. does it not seem strange that we have a friendly with the very same team as the player we have been tracking for a while? Why would we choose Athletic Bilbao as our last Friendly?

Just imagine us right now showing Llorente around WHL, meeting people, getting him to meet VDV so he can help in integrate in the squad as he speaks Spanish.
Tonight suddenly before the match, Llorente walks on to the pitch, but in a suit, not Bilbao's shirt and us announcing he has just signed for Spurs!!!!

All this ITK and none has come to be!! its killing me im starting to doubt apart from Diarra ( and thats becoming tired ) if anything is happening at all?? are we selling Hutton/Keane to Villa?? are we going to get Diarra? /have we got Diarra? /or are the wages really the prob depending on which story pulls you the most?? as for the bloody striker situation just who are we actually courting ITK'S were all over the Adebayor thing just 2 days ago 1 getting so excited he blurted out unveiled SATURDAY!! Diarra and his mate!!? or are we still chasing Rossi or his team mate? or is it Forlan? or Llorent....ITS SENDING ME BONKERS!!! if i see the manager Flapping his wobbly face to the media about wages blah blah the chairmans working on it il...il...il....come right on here and complain...this isbt ITK bashing just me venting frustration at our complete incapability of identifying our targets and doing a quick deal!!!
