Hardly any money coming in? Have we used that much of our war chest already? 55 on Rich, 15 on Spence and 25 on Bis? This is far from our "war chest" alone, and not counting in any other income?

i know we were high on our horses when we heard we finally got a war chest, but lets be real, like Conte said this is what you need to do if you want to be a top club in the PL. Arsenal with EL is spending more than us 2 years in a row now and that with no "war chest"

We need 2 more players that can compete directly with the starting 11, one CB and one attacking/creative midfielder. I know it is great we finally got people in early, but would people be happy if we closed the window with what we have now?

kinda worrying if we are paying 20% of Gio's wage as well. what will change next year then, if they can not even pay his wages, they will never buy him anyway?

Completely agree with this, imagine if we didn’t have a “war chest” where would we be shopping? We’re just spending the same as most teams around us

One cannot ignore add ons and wages, on top of monies required for Romero and Kulu.

Everton have spent £250m net over the past 5 seasons on players, vs our £94m. Would you rather be in their position or ours?

I would be delighted if we closed the window now because, probably for the first time in my lifetime, our club has acted quickly and decisively in the market and upgraded in pretty much every position in which we've bought; and the info we have been given is that every player we have signed was Conte's first choice, save for Spence who nonetheless he approved. Frankly I am amazed we've managed to do as much as we have in one window, and if we sign more it will be incredible. But in any event, whether I am happy, or you are happy, or anyone else on SC is happy is in a sense moot. What matters is whether Conte is happy, and what we are told is that he is very happy.

He is, I think we can make it permanent when we want, but with other signings being done this window, no point in loading the books with extra now when can be done later.

Wasn't all pretty much agreed with Eze to join in January while Poch was here, then he got sacked and Jose wasn't interested in him so we didn't proceed with it?

Which in fairness is a great attitude to have. Young players need regular first team football.

Why does it? We were told this signing will be made late in the window numerous times and we were told last week that we will go back in for zaniolo.

Absolutely no way Leicester let maddison go, especially as Fofana looks a matter of time.

Well it has been questioned (to death) and massively overhauled as an answer.
