That is true. To be fair, you can break days down into periods of 24 hours.

What do you think the reaction would have been to us signing Richarlison this window? And that was a Richarlison who actually scored for Everton and looked a threat. If Richi is our Kane replacement/alternative, then it means we absolutely failed last year and we've also failed this year. There's no real way to sugar coat that we'll be 20-30 goals a season lighter than we were.

Lloyd Kelly is a new one for me. The abysmal failure to shift players out by today, which is still late, is typical of how we're run. Can you imagine how little a club taking ndombele will be subsidizing his wages if he goes tomorrow? How many contract cancellations we'll have this weekend? How many unregistered players?

Even if the answer is zero after a mad scramble tomorrow, it reflects so poorly on how we're run.

ITK have told us that Ange wants a type of player with certain attributes and has the last say.
It's a different era, so let's look at it with a new focus. What skillset does Kelly have compared to Sanchez and Dier apart from being HG.
We ain't buying a £50m CB as back up so just maybe it is seen that he is better back up than what we have now.
Improve the squad to fit in with playing style.
