hahaha, thanks mate. it's that bad i've lost track of time. i'm in the transfer window triangle!

This place has that affect on people. I woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat screaming "blue & yellow", then when I get into work i see we are being linked with Leandro again..........spooky

I really want Siggy to come good. Don't know why he isn't working for us.

Because our system doesn't suit the way he played so successfully last year. He was effective picking up knockdowns and second balls off a target man in Danny Graham. He does not, and will not, get the sane type if service from Defoe, and I don't think he has had the type if consistent game time in the same role to adjust.

what does my head in is that we have all year to identify, scout, then negotiate with a club and player. once the window opens it should e. bang, bang. Surely it's not that difficult to work something up near to completion BETWEEN transfer windows. Damiao, for instance, could've been sorted, kajillions of owners/agents and all IN THE PAST 2.5 YEARS if we'd put enough effort and attention in. If avb has a list and the likes of Moutinho and Damiao are top of it, why couldn't we have gotten started on those from day 1?

Ok, so not much time left. I reckon it's only ever going to be bargain basement or last minute affair. Now, Damaio still gets talked about. That ship has sailed IMO. Negredo is a maybe if he comes in on the cheap, but I reckon we'd still have to pay him decent wages.

So I'm thinking Hooper.....but I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with Odemwingie!!

Not sure I buy Ghostfarmo's info that there will be two top strikers, unless Ade goes or the second is a young, cheap new talent.....or maybe even a loan. I don't see anything happening with Ade while he's in Africa.

Hi guys, long time lurker but first post.

Regarding the Muller ITK, he has been one of Bayern's best players this year (keeping Robben out of the team). We really have absolutely no chance unfortunately. Also, he can play as a striker which immediately rules him out. I'm still waiting for Forlan/Fabiano/Leandro

Looking forward(ish) to the next couple of days. I don't expect us to sign anybody else but that won't stop me getting my hopes up (again).

I am told that tottenham have targeted a striker for the summer.
Levy now has someone else he respects in his ear and will wait until the summer to get his target.
so if tottenham do get in a forward, and there's nothing being work on, i can only see it being a last minite deal.

Sorry Leandro and Willian are both not happening.
Numerous clubs made enquiries about Willian.
Neither is Negredo; doesn't mean he won't sign somewhere else though.
Read some of yesterdays stuff re. lyon; They were willing to sell the players in the summer. Tottenham weren' interested then, apart from LLoris. I dont know if thats changed.

i know i will probably get slated but AVB still wants moutinho.nothings changed. i expect another Levy bid or at least AVB does.
theres also a defender tottenham want but will wait until the summer unless another club goes in for him.

As strikers go I'd be surprised if it was anyone other than negredo or hooper.

As for Defoe I told you guys he had MRI scan straight after the man utd match.

I suspect it will be to see if someone will be fit to play tomorrow.
