This is what I don't get, but do keep in mind I know Negredo from Youtube and Wiki only, wouldnt he be sensational for 10m? 6 goals in 12 for Spain, scores very 2-3 games for Sevilla, consistent in a struggling team for a few seasons, quick, good skills, fairly strong. What's the catch? From the little I've seen of the two, in fact, I'd put my money on Negredo rather than Leandro to hit the ground running..

If Leandro is too expensive then he is too expensive. Im sure AVB would love Messi as well but he would be too expensive. It has nothing to do with Levy not backing his manager.
Daniel Levy runs this club in the correct financial manner. We have a limit on what we can spend and im sure AVB can appreciate that given he is also an intelligent chap.
The policy under Enic has seen us transformed from relegation candidates to top 4 contenders in thier 12 year reign. Levy gets it right more often than not and if he forecasts FFP is going to help our quest to challenege at the top then im happy to back Levys strategy to get there. The new stadium will transform this club in the long run and that is the priority. Im happy to wait for the success rather than throw us in to a pointless debt.

Surely it's Holtby's medical if medical-related at all. We've announced most transfers subject to a medical so I doubt it's a new name.
