Why do people keep mentioning names like Carlton Cole? We're not going to sign anyone if we cant upgrade on Pav, Defoe and Crouch. That's the sole reason we haven't signed a striker these past 2 windows. If we were desperate for a striker we'd have signed one by now. The exageration over our strikers is boring.

To be honest I always thought this was the biggest stumbling block for us signing that marquee striker, them ACTUALLY wantong to play for us.

Throw eggs into Torres basket and see what happens.

Based on todays performance we should probably snap up Diarra if we can as well.

Well, if we sign nobody what a disaster. Couldn't even manage Beckham. Got rid of a striker instead of signing one and all round have Stevie Peanut to show for our efforts.

Tomorrow is going to be another crazy transfer day, now do i go to work or sit at home on the pc, watching the day unfold hmmmm:shrug:

I can tell you how it's going to unfold right now. The morning will be quiet, possibly one or two pieces of ITK, but generally this thread wll contain nothing much, perhaps the odd report from the SSN, BBC or goal.com or even the Daily Mail, all of which will be bollocks. Still, we'll reach 200 pages tomorrow. Easy.

ITK will pick up toward the evening with the enevitable climax around 9-10pm. At roughly 10 minutes to 11 everyone will be F5-ing like crazy or have downed mouses to watch the 'dramatic' conclusion to the transfer window live on SSN when that buck toothed **** Swanson sits there with 20 mobiles borrowed from the backroom staff at SSN sat on the table next to him.

At 11.01 people will be staring blankly at their TV screens/PC Monitors as the realisation hit that we've only gone and drawn a blank. Mouths will be open, eyes will be glazed and hands will be hanging limply be their sides.

At 11.02, everyone will snap out of their comas and march back to their PC's seething with indignation.

At 11.03 this thread and probably Spurs Chat will be chokka with posts threatening a thousand plagues and disasters on Levy or Redknapp, possibly even Jenas, depending on who the posters preference is as to fall guy.

Looking further ahead, 11.01 will be dragged up every time we fail to win a game and so it will go on.

i dont care what people say about these deals are complex etc etc we should of had one wrapped up by now.
