I think some nice ITK to break about an incoming CM to take us through the weekend.

Then the striker to take us into deadline day would be grand

Signing them early or signing them late is not the point I was making. It's about doing the research and having a long term plan of where we are going. The "Super Bale 7" as you put it were imo opportunistic buys that represented quality(where they were playing at that time) but not necessarily the correct fit for purpose. This is why so much of it has not worked out, and why it has cost us two seasons of floundering not to mention a fair bit of money.

So in other words, Baldini didn't know what the hell he was doing! I've heard suggestions that his only talent was for closing a deal. That he didn't know his arse from elbow when it came to scouting.

Oh well, water under the bridge. Here's hoping for more good news over the weekend.

No, (well maybe but that wasn't the point of it) yesterday people were hanging themselves, today they are running around decorating the walls with jizz.

I was going to say the same A&C.. Surely this Euphoria can't last through the weekend can it? Surely people will be frustrated if we don't sign a back up before 6pm Monday..

Two points here though:-

1. It probably wasn't something we agreed to, hence the perils of academy football. Happened to bigger clubs than us before.
2. It shows how well we did to tie down Onomah.

Good attitude. We've just signed a top level young player with a fantastic scoring record so let's moan about a youth player going who might not have even made the first team.
