just read article and was always way. top top players harry talks about are on savage wages but how good would samuel etoo be for us.. now thats a wow signing lol

what that sarticle does show though i think is narrow down targets.. for me its suarez which i really doubt. i think hulk cud be option at moment but wud cost alot. and possibly forlan cos of age. cud deal done there i think. anyone else is out i think. too much shite around fabiano. if he was keen i think he wud be here by now

yeah that too for sure. You could take a couple meanings out of it; reading between the lines. Perhaps that was the intention.

Either way Harry is alluding to the fact that if we dont finish top 4 it was down to things that were out of his control.

Stay pepped up guys. Final day will be like a 24 hour penalty shoot out to Arsenal. Could be great, could be awful, but we're trying and to dare is to do. We're not settling for half-measures and that could either hurt us or improve us tremendously. We've just got to hope and trust in Levy.

That's become a bit of a hackneyed cliche. Half measures ? Suarez would cost a two thirds of what we paid for Keane and Defoe (£30m the pair), would replace the pair and would have a better sell on than the pair combined. And I'm sure he's not on £140K a week.

We are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
We either start paying 'top 4' wages to attract the players that we need to remain competitive in the top 4 (at the risk of financial ruin), or, we try and pick and choose players on wages that suit our requirements that may turn into superstars at the risk of not finishing in the top 4.
