Interesting. I'm almost warming to the idea of PN (as cover) but still want Walker to be starting next season.

I wouldn't be so sure about Neville. If the rumours about their financial state are true I think it could well be a goer late on Monday.

Surely if they needed money they would just sell Cahill or Arteta for some serious cash. Think its more like some disgruntled Kenwright fans stirring things up.

Anyway with Chelsea bidding for Torres, indicates they are looking to replace Drogbra, anyone interested in him?, or mourinho could take him on freeing up the Benz?!

Morning all!

I was out getting shitfaced last night (any decent 'work friendly' hangover cures?), and have arrived this morning to discover that Adie has given up being an ITK, everyone appears to have kicked off a bit, and we still have no bloody striker!!

What the hell happened in here yesterday?!

I still find it so surprising that there is hardly any news about us and Suarez unless all we've asked is to be kept abreast of offers so we can match if we want to. My concern is that if we simply match an offer and Suarez sees how much Pool have been pushing for him, that he'll think he is wanted more there and turn us down.

I wouldnt think that Real will sign both Adebayor and Drogba...they are too alike.

I would think that Everton are more likely to sell Neville than a 'big' player such as Cahill, Arteta and Jagielka. Yes they would get more money for one of them, but the fans would go mental because a couple of defeats could see them in real trouble

I think he is primarily a centre back but can also play full back or defensive midfield. If we were going for Phil Neville it makes sense that we'd be looking at this guy too as they tick the same boxes.

Why? VDV is effectively the replacement forward if he is going to be one of the front 2.

We'll sign a striker, but whether it is before or after Pav leaves I think it doesn't matter too much.

He's versatile and has played at CM too. I can't really see the logic in this though.

If Pav is definitely going then we must have a striker on the brink of moving to us since there is so much talk of Keane going. I cannot imagine that we would be left with 2 stikers at the end of the window. That would be 4th place suicide!
