Is this a reflection of wider society.. I'd imagine London to be, next to New York, the most cosmopolitan city in the world, but do the English not hang with the "aliens"?

On current speculation, if you were from Brazil, how many chance during the football season do you think you'd get to visit home? Certainly not during a period of 5 games in a fortnight, but what if just after there was a lull of 2.5 weeks with just one game. And both keepers ahead of you in the pecking order were fit and in form?

Seems perfect timing to let Gomes go home for 10 days. He's a good pro and just wants a break. We're not playing him so let the bloke be. I don't think we'll let him go until summer. What if Lloris broke his arm? Archer's on loan. If we let Gomes go, we'd be even more exposed than if JD orAde got injured...
