Well if Harry were still around I'd say Diarra would be the most likely. Now?... no idea.

EDIT: damn you, rawhide...

Thanks for the ITK Goat... though one has to say 35M + Player sounds like a recap of a lot of what has come before. Not that it makes it wrong.

Still also believe not many players from Real Madrid would come, though we got Vdv obviously. Can't see it being close to any of their regular 1st 11 that's for sure, so think we can forget players like Özil or Khedira or that ilk (probably better odds on Spain going out of the Euros tonight!). Diarra is a maybe I guess.

But again, nothing to see or do here until manager in place.

We all said it, manager is the most crucial piece to the summer jigsaw and why the HR situation had to be resolved quickly. Let's hope the replacement won't be dragged out with that move now done as we do want player signings to be under way sooner rather than later.

R.

Please don't do this. The thread will quickly turn into a sHam. It's bad enough seeing the same comments about managers every day. Posts of whichever player you think most likely from Wikipedia is really not on. Ta muchly.

Don't you fucking start.

Total failure?

He won the treble in his first season of management. That's more trophies than Arry has won in 30-odd years as a manager.
Why don't you read what I wrote?

I said "and been a total failure AT ONE"

As in, he was a total failure at Chelsea meaning the fact he has managed one extra club than Blanc is not really a big deal considering he failed at the 3rd/extra side he managed

Haha Ozil wasn't a serious suggestion by anyone was he? Think next year Madrid want Ozil, Modric and Ronaldo behind Benzema, with Jose rotating Di Maria and Higuain in and out of the team.

£35m + player is about the right amount.

Can't wait to see the Bernabeu boo when he has one of those shots that dribble 10 yards wide of the post.

IMO would of thought the player would be a youth player tbh not a first team player and the whole offer could change when we get a new manager in! He mite make modric wana stay :)

i would specualte that its not a massively high profile player, or someone that has passed their peak

£35m plus say a £5m rated player? If it was a £15m rated player or above surely the cash element would be a lot lower?

i would take the goats latest info with a bucket of salt and here's why, Modric is not worth anything more than 30 million pounds. now firstly why would Madrid part with 35 million and a player in this exchange, really ????? secondly we are waiting for the new manager to make that call yet we will gleefully buy Vertegnon for upwards of 10 million without needing said new managers approval.

if this comes across as ITK bashing then it is not meant to be, i am merely doubting that info and providing reason for this.

And been a total failure at one where as Blanc has had success at both

Harry managed a total of 3 clubs prior to Spurs ..had no success with any of them and left the mostly in a huge bother when he left....yet he came to Spurs with a checkered track record and was successful
