I’d strongly advise against clogging this thread with guesswork folks. It won’t end well.
This Summer has been something else. It's moved on from just guessing players names to guessing whether every post in a blue background is in fact some ridiculously elaborate and well hidden cryptic clue that a think tank of Holmes, Hawing, Einstein, Poirot and headed up by Fred and Daphne couldn't solve.

The problem is cryptics are often hidden in the text. You posted a month or so ago to say you'd posted a cryptic in a thread.

Can't blame people for looking for them when they are regularly done. Annoying as it is you've contributed to that. It's part of the fun of this thread.

Lamela should get a lifetime contract just so we can wheel him out for Arsenal and Chelsea. Don't even need to play him, just make sure he's on the bench ready for when it kicks off.

Cue the guessing games ?

Can only allude to Kounde surely? Looking at their squad, there’s not much there and if Sevilla are losing him anyway and Reggie is a player they want/need it may make sense to try for some sort of deal which would suit all parties.

It won't be Kounde, he's going to Barca, if not then Chelsea, and not the type of CB we need

Assuming we were to go for a swap, Kounde would be great but not realistic. Would be amazing to somehow get Acuna but can't see us going for a LWB now. Maybe Diego Carlos, Rafa Mir, or Lucas Ocampos?

Edit: I'm an idiot

This bit from ValenciaYid doesnt sound like a ITK , more of opinion

I think the opposite actually. Would be a bit odd to randomly tease a swap deal if he didn't have any knowledge of it. The use of an ellipsis to me suggests that he does.

valenciayid on sevilla struggling to afford reguilon:
Remember when someone said swap deals are really difficult….
If Sevilla are interested in a swap deal, perhaps we could swap Gil with a more mature and physically imposing winger.

I know Sevilla has that Lamela guy? Looked handy in the friendly, not sure how he'd fare in the PL though.
