Morning ITK buffs.
A few A&C thoughts..............
Moutinho: I don't think this is going to happen. We're being told how complicated it is but if we got as close as we are led to believe in August I see no reason why it should drag on all over again and i'd have expected this to have been done by now. Chances of him signing? Slim to none and slim's just rode out of town.
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 0/10
Leandro: Again, not one I think is going to happen. And again our old friend 'complications' are cited. These complications seem to be dragging on and on ad nauseum. Chances of him signing? See Moutinho. Our old friend Slim's disappearing into the distance now.
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 0/10
Llorente: Another one we seem to have been chasing for ages. One minute it's on the next it's off, one minute he's willing to come the next he's signing for Juve...........I guess it's possible we might sign him but i'm not holding my breath
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 4/10
Zaha: Fuck knows. What i've heard says we have a chance. The papers have a hard on for him going to Old Trafford, personally I think it's between us and them, with them being favourites.
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 5/10
Sneijder: Wages would be the stumbling block I reckon, but IF we're interested (and be bloody well should be, he's literally begging to come to the EPL) and IF there's a deal to be done, this rests on the ability of Levy to be creative
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 6/10
Some striker or another from a mid-table Premier League team: Plenty of suspects. We've been in for a few of them before. So, a cheap 'filler' option from somewhere like Stoke, West Brom or something?
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 6/10
We'll sign nobody: This is the option I think most likely. SC will be full of mobs armed with pitchforks and buttplugs. Levy will be on the end of a lot of angst from some and hailed as a genius by others the instant he signs someone on a free transfer, that'll be fun.
A&C's Transfer-o-Meter rating: 8/10
There you go. I hope i'm wrong (I usually am) and that it turns out that i'm talking a load of testicles this morning
Everyone has an onion and these are my onions.
In other news, Mr Pink is one sick individual. Who in their right mind goes out for the night, takes a cab home, realises mid-journey that he has no money and ends up offering oral sex to a lesbian cab driver dressed as Stalin in place of paying the fare? There's some twisted people on this site............:cautious:

Good morning all!

Excellent round up A&C, though I would say the ratings are slightly too positive (with the exception of signing nobody...).

Would we be right in thinking that the complications are the fact there is a transfer fee involved plus the players want paying and maybe levy?

I would be amazed if levy didn't sign leandro , the time is right for both clubs , imo we will get close to agreeing and then they will mess us about again and then Danny boy will get us ournew shiny Brazilian centre forward .

Excellent summary. Nearly everyone seems to forget that Levy is always looking for value and there is usually none to be had in the January Transfer Window. When Levy sees value or there is an urgent overriding need (avoiding relegation) he acts. I expect nothing more, on top of the two value deals already done, unless Levy sniffs out a bargain and that won't happen until 31/1/2013 if it happens at all.

Its so frustrating as we're so close to being a really top team but this won't be the case forever, so the chairman has a choice.
Make one or two good singings and push us on to the next level or stay on the brink of challenging or even go backwards because our top players feel they have to leave to win things.

Come on Daniel, time to make us great.

Autographs are all THFC are signing this January. We've done our business (Zeki, Lewis).
What I like though is our record of occasionally scoring big at midnight from left field.

Mouts was all agreed with Porto in the summer so he knows the number on his head. If that's gone up just because its January then fair enough, if not let's use this time to iron out the bits we ran out of time for.

Why make a one movie saga, when you can stretch it over a trilogy and milk the fans for what its worth? If we constantly are 1-2 player shy of CL, then that way the money will continue to roll in from the supporters, and set aside for the stadium and training centre.

That being said, we are one of the best financially-run club ever, but i dont think we'll ever see the Tavistock group or ENIC investing their OWN money to take the club up to the next level. It's about setting up the club for a sale, when the right value and buyer comes along.
