i fully expect to hear news on o hara and kranjcar leaving pretty soon so that will add to the pot after pienaar signing.

think o'hara will be going out on loan to regain his match fitness....and to address your question to the ITKs, it looks like POTL said it was never on...SSN reported it but they get some things wrong when it comes to transfer news, their "sources" could be uninformed and things can change quickly.

So according to Adie we are offloading Keane and Pavlyuchenko to Sunderland, I think Fabiano will be a certainty now if thats true, £4million from the Bent sale, £6 Million for Keane = £10 million which should pay for Fabiano, Then £12 million plus whatever else we have in funds could go toward Suarez fee.

So that would leave us with Crouch, Defoe, Fabiano, Suarez and VDV, Hmm. Can't see it myself. I know we have lots of games coming up, but 5 strikers? Nah, it doesn't make sense to me (but I have had a bit to drink :beer. So, I would see either one of Fab or Suarez coming in or, both but another one of defoe or crouch leaving. NOT ITK! :shrug:

not starting argument but just asking question have you any mates who dont support spurs? ask them what they think of ekotto. maybe its an irish thing but lots of mates over here are united pool. chelsea etc and they think he is joke. not that i give crap what they think but just that i agree with them alot of time

this is exactly it. BAE is an excellent FOOTBALLER. He is brilliant on the ball, all thought he can be risky but thats part of his game, the fact he pulls of the risky moves 9/10 shows how good he is....

Yeah his positioning can be questionable now and again but you cant blame him entirely when nearly every week the last couple of seasons hes had different partners next to him, now this season its been more consistent... so has he.

All things considered Ekotto probably is our weakest link from a defensive standpoint. He was utterly abysmal against Everton, like he couldn't be arsed with defending for the night, which was nice of him.

Ekotto only seems to perform well at home, and the odd occasion when were away but are shown on tv, perhaps we should stick bale at left back on away games.

no doubting quality of all forwards linked but i would love s center forward from left field. someone like a lukaka or even a neymar from brazil or falacao from porto. get a buzz and excitement going again like harry said today. freshen things up.

So we should sign someone just for 'buzz and excitement' regardless of whether they will fit into our preferred system?

Its funny because my younger cousin, also a Spurs fan, came in the other day and said exactly the same thing to me...Ekotto being the weak link in our side...flip it gets on my tits, especially when you know they're just quoting the likes of Hansen, Gray etc...
