@Trix have you heard anything on tanguy? The guy just seems to be missing, can’t find any info on him anywhere atm
The only reason I'm replying to this is because I was going to post it anyway. Please don't @ me asking questions as 99% of the time I'll just put you on ignore. Nothing personal but if it's easier than getting caught up in the shit storm that asking questions can cause........

That said he wants to go, I've said that before. He's very close to Serge and Sissoko and we are actively trying to shift both. He's very sulky and lazy when things aren't going his way. We are happy if he goes, but it's not easy because no one has any money and he's on pretty high wages. My guess would be he goes out on loan or we can shoe horn him into a deal for a striker coming the other way. The latter preferable.

Everyone is credibly hearing different angles on Kane situation. If you see we bring in 2 strikers ‘soonish’ then you know the caveat. If only one comes in, I am hearing we won’t be leaving it until late if citeh match what we want. It will then depend on the striker we have in mind to replace him. Our top target is the Serb striker, whose name slips me. Surname begins with ‘V’

Vlahovic

I personally would like to know where our money is coming from for new players should HK stay, Levy has bleeted on about how we were the worst hit club in the PL through Covid and that financially we are struggling yet we are being linked with £60-£80m strikers depending on which one you believe, as well as another CB, a RB and a midfielder, have heard rumours of naming rights for stadium etc but that isn't going to buy these expensive players we are being linked with, i don't want it to come crashing down on us like it usually does but can't help think it will.

So the first striker in will be the support striker either to Kane or to Kanes replacement

When did this happen?

We're an unbelievably well managed club in terms of finance so don't be concerned. Yes we were hit by Covid, especially as we had non-football events lined up (Capital radio, Guns n Roses, AJ fight, rugby, NFL) but there is no way on earth Levy and the owners would be reckless with transfer funds.
In addition to the naming rights, we now have full capacity for football and a number of confirmed events over the next few months.

Vlahovic looks ideal, but he strikes me more as the Kane replacement option than the supporting / playing with player. I hope we get Vlahovic whatever happens with Kane, stay or sold.

Arrogance is built into the DNA of Arab Gulf males. And, yes I do speak from years of experience.
Man City are simply a Gulf state's sovereign wealth fund masquerading as a football club.
You may dislike or disagree to your woke heart's content but over a period of 10 years in the Gulf, I saw first-hand their arrogance in believing everyone or everything has a price and can be bought.

He needs to go. Nuno had us playing like maniacs yesterday- controlled maniacs of course, but that energy made it very tricky for City after our initial slow start. We absolutely do not want sulky, man babies in the squad- we need commitment and togetherness if we’re to emerge from the late Pochettino and Mourinho shit show

Personally would rather Vlahovic than Martinez if we're only bringing one in and Kane stays, although I get the feeling we see him as the ideal Kane replacement and Martinez as the ideal Kane supplement.

Just think Vlahovic is going to be an absolute star.

Curious how much we will invest in the 3rd striker and what profile he will have, Talent? Experienced like Llorente? Wide Forward? Tall guy? Don't believe for a minute we will buy Martinez or Vlahovic if Kane stays.

I hope we go all in for Kulusevski as the option to Support/to play with/rotate. Everyone is talking about Isak but here in sweden most sees Kulusevski as the bigger talent. Now with Dybala back as a starter for Juve i really hope Paratici brings him in and if Kane goes Vlahovic joins. Kulu would be perfect to play alongside son in a 2 or on right in a 3. If we can get him in for around 50m it would be the best signing in my opinion.

I'm genuinely pleased that your experience has been completely different from mine.
When you say you've worked with", does that mean you've lived there?
I have - in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman and Qatar. And, with the honourable exception of the Omanis, the average wealthy Gulf Arab male is an arrogant, self entitled asshole.
As a Caucasian American male, I can admit that you're also describing the average one of us. But, again, not for this thread. Take it elsewhere.
