If we have money to spend with out kane going I'd be spending that now and telling Kane he's going nowhere this year. None of the strikers we're linked with have prem experience which means a bedding in period. With no goals we'll be in real trouble this year. If city are seriously offering 95 the week the season starts we should be telling them to f off.

Well if you take ValYids info into consideration we need to be in the champions league or its not good enough. Don't forget from Christmas last year onwards we were in a right mess. Without Kane we would have had relegation form. We've only bought one new defender and sold our best one. We've not improved cm which was bad last year and our fullbacks were tragic last year.

Every link we seem to have appears to have question marks over them with nothing seeming to move forward.

Romero and Gil are excellent additions but we need far more during this well and widely acknowledged re-build.

I really want to believe that Paratici is the difference this time but time is of the essence now.

We potentially need to move on 5,6,7 players and recruit a similar number by two weeks on Tuesday. That could mean 10-15 transfers.

I still believe ( but only just about ) that this could or will happen but the Don is playing a very, very high poker game IMO.

Long live the Don. ?

Toby and Lamela are the only significant departures so far this window, hardly anyone would consider them part of our deadwood and an absolute essential part of any sort of re-build. ?

Fiorentina have Romano on some kind of retainer to try and ignite a bidding war, but to no great avail thus far lol

Seems like way too much to be done in the time we have left. All does seem very dependant on the Kane situation in terms of who we go after. If we’re realistic we may see a couple of new faces only and may shift a few and will need to complete the job next summer.

If the other players were not deadwood, it would be easier to shuffle them out. But in due time they will one way or other.
