Or see if you could tempt Butler back? instead of Bairstow.Totally agree, the rise of Harry Brook has caused this. Not sure what they do, only option I can see is to drop moen and use root as the spinner.

It’s all got to their heads. With a bit of composure, We could have set them 350+. Root should’ve anchored the innings. He made a good 40, but playing his natural game could’ve got more. Bonkers getting stumped with the game in the balance. And again that declaration…..Because of one game? Fact is we have been winning and winning in style playing "Bazball". I don't remember anyone questioning it when we were ripping through India, Pakistan and New Zealand.
Butler is no better as a keeper and a much worse test batsman!Or see if you could tempt Butler back? instead of Bairstow.
Never quite cut it at test levelOr see if you could tempt Butler back? instead of Bairstow.
When exactly did Bazball rip through India?Because of one game? Fact is we have been winning and winning in style playing "Bazball". I don't remember anyone questioning it when we were ripping through India, Pakistan and New Zealand.
When exactly did Bazball rip through India?
The last 2 series have been 3-1 India and 2-2 draw. Bazball wasn't around before then.
On the other hand................If England had scored their runs at the same as the Aussies in this test, we would now be heading for a dull as ditch water draw. When exactly did Bazball rip through India?
