this is where we will lose this game, not because of the declaration.
Just too many coming undercooked. That bit of sharpness is missing that could get us over the line. The India match was a great workout for the Aussies but most of ours have had Ireland or nothing in Robinson, Ali and Bairstow's case
Problem is they want him in the side, who drops out to get Foakes in?Bairstow situation is already becoming a crisis. How many runs does he have to get to outweigh the cost in the field?

Totally agree, the rise of Harry Brook has caused this. Not sure what they do, only option I can see is to drop moen and use root as the spinner.Exactly, it's a major problem
But if you start adding up these missed chances, how much does it cost you over 25 days of cricket?
1 could easily bring three. Has that kind of feelWe really needed early wickets tonight. Of course they can still come but it’s not looking good now.

Just feels slightly unlikely when the next two coming in are Marnus and Smith1 could easily bring three. Has that kind of feel
Would have to bring in a bowler if Ali is dropped as Root can't bowl 30+ overs.Totally agree, the rise of Harry Brook has caused this. Not sure what they do, only option I can see is to drop moen and use root as the spinner.
Because of one game? Fact is we have been winning and winning in style playing "Bazball". I don't remember anyone questioning it when we were ripping through India, Pakistan and New Zealand.If/when we lose this, ‘Bazball’ needs Seriously looking at. Reckless batting, shocking declaration etc. They all got wrapped up in the hype.
