The Best “Conte” Team in PL

So just a bit of fun. My brothers and I were talking yesterday after the game about what team from our Premier League history would be the best Antonio Conte side.

My brothers are older than me which changed their teams from mine. I proposed the following:

3-4-3:

Lloris
Toby - King - Verts
Walker - Dembele - Modric - Rose
Bale - Kane - Son​

3-5-2:

Lloris
Toby - King - Verts
Walker - Dembele - Eriksen - Modric - Rose
Kane - Son​

When we were talking it through there were a hundred different sides and loads of players that I had forgotten about aswell.

As I say, just a bit of fun for a Monday and would be interesting to see the different teams!

Think your bang on with both tbh. Although mabye Berbatov, Keane or Defoe or Klinsmann or VDV up top with Kane.

Peak Wanyama or Carrick might also get a look in somewhere.

Could also put Bale LWB over Rose

Imagine that back 3 of Toby, Jan and King my days ? with Dembele and Luka Modric pulling the strings. Walker & Rose bombing on and Bale, Son and Kane up top, would be an insanely good team.

I've just realised, 7 of that 3-4-3 team played together, arguably at the peak of their powers. How we didn't win anything is a joke and shows that despite how good we thought we had it with Poch, we probably underachieved. That was a frighteningly good side, with Eriksen & peak Dele Alli in there too.

Totally agree. It feels like such an opportunity missed. They deserved to win something as they all played so well for a few years together. Just couldn’t get that trophy over the line.

Any other fan who isn’t a biased idiot would agree that for two straight seasons we were the most consistent team in the country.
