Gollini
Royal Romero Rodon Sessengon
John Skipp White
Markanday Scarlett Gil

Subs: Austin Doherty Davies Cesay Fagan-Walcott Omole Lyons-Foster Craig Craig Winks Lo Celso Bergwijn Clarke

Leave Sunday’s starting 11 to stew and don’t waste valuable starting minutes on deadwood. Let’s see what the next generation has to offer and hopefully give the fans something to get excited about.
I'm with you and would be quite happy to play that 11. Might even consider Winks instead of either John or White and play him in a much more forward role than he usually plays and see what he has to offer there.
Even in this very low European competition we are unlikely to win it so play the "second" 11 and see how far they can take us and with the experience they will gain hopefully helping us later in the season in the league.

Scarlett must play. I'd be inclined to say Markanday too.

Much like Poch's first season, a good transition season can find your squad a few useful academy players that will risk any of their limbs to make the step up for the club.

Gollini
Emerson Rodon Romero Davies
Winks Skipp Dele
Markanday Scarlett Gil

In light of team news
——— Gollini —————————
———— Dier - Romero - Rodon ———
Emerson — Skipp GLC —Davies————
———Markanday— Son Gil———————-

HT Hojberg for Skipp, Kane for Son
Markanday off at 60 for Moura
Assuming no injuries and game going to plan etc

Apparently Davies missed the last training session. Reggie is the obvious alternative, but Gil might be a better fit for this one

Trying to get some kind of reference for this lot level. In last 2 years Macabi Haifa and strum graz beat them comfortably. It’s probably league 2 level if that.

No offence but I never want to see Dele in midfield again after Sunday, however I do like the idea of giving some of the academy players time in this game.

Yes, I do.
Ok, well I don't. I'll watch the game and support us, of course, but not with any enjoyment. Neither do I care what second string team he puts together to play a team of railway workers in a half empty (if we're lucky) stadium.

For someone who doesn't care you seem to have a fair amount of angst about this game

I said I don't care what the team would be mate. Never said I don't care about Spurs. I wish I didn't care, I truly do.
Do you disagree with the premise that the conference is our best chance at qualifying for Europe and or win a cup?

What does the answer to that question have to do with my original point, which, I repeat in case you didn't read it the first two times, was that I don't care who plays tonight. Not because I don't care about Spurs, but because I don't care if it's Lo Celso or Ndombele, Tanganga or Doherty, Dier or Sanchez. They're all disappointing and I have lost hope in all of them. Especially the manager picking them.

Just to make things clearer for you, I also don't care what the lineup is on Sunday either. Again, not because I don't care about THFC, but because at this point, they're all the same level of crap.

And on a side note, does it matter which shit European competition we're in next season? Will you tell your kids or grandkids about winning the inaugural Conference League in 25 years time? Don't think so.

Does anyone really care?
I've supported this team since 1971 and yes, I care. We've won nothing for years and I can't understand the snobbery of turning up our noses at this and the League & FA cup (not aimed at you Dimi). What else are we going to win?

Be realistic for a moment. We're not going to win the League so that leaves the cups!! Do we not think that winning something would do the club some good?

You’re floundering around a bit dimi. What you actually said was “Does anyone actually care”.

We just need to go and win this competition.

I understand why some people hate the thought of it, and see it as meaningless, I get that it isn’t exactly a highly rated competition.

However I still feel the way I did at the start of the season, we need to start ridding ourselves of this shitty, “we’ll never win” attitude that the club absolutely reeks of.

Does winning this competition suddenly make us world beaters or back to our champions league level? Of course not, but it might make a start on making us look less like the perennial losers That we currently have the well earned reputation for.

Oh, and I don’t want to win it so I can hold it up and show other fans, other fans will laugh at our progress in this competition either way. I want us to win it for us, the Spurs fans.

Yes because whatever we intend the first XI to be going forward the players need to learn how to play together. At the moment I'm not sure they have a clue.

I was all for this competition being all kids and reserves now I've changed my mind
Completely agree, I also think we should swap to 3 at the back. I would like to see Gil, Skipp, Gio and Romero start.
