I would love to see a 3 man midfield. Mason, Bentaleb and Dembele could be a decent combination. Put Chadli, Son and Kane in attack.

We won't see any changes, I don't know why people were panicking saying we need to rest half the team or certain players can't play back to back games...we're not running a nursery here and as I said we have 6 days until the next match which is plenty recovery time.

you don't think there will be any changes for a match 46 hours from the previous one?

I don't think it is.

whether we have six days, six weeks or six months rest after the watford game it still doesn't change the fact that the players only have one day of rest between this game and the one we've just played. the everton game has no bearing on how well the players will recover from today and how ready they'll be to play so soon after.

Dembele a doubt Sky says

Lloris (c)
Trippier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Rose
Bentaleb - Dier
Lamela - Son - Chadli
Kane

If Dembele's out, I want Mason in for his bite and zip. Rose for Davies, Trippier for Walker and maybe Son for Eriksen. Same team otherwise.

Rose in for Davies
Mason for dembele if dembele is not 100% as he rarely plays 2 games a week and it's vital he stays fit
Son in for eriksen. Apart from that I would play the same team as today

Third game in a row I've seen most of the posters on here drop one of our most influential players for the following game - Alli. He has then started and gone on to have a massive hand in the outcome of the game.

Just don't understand it myself.

Yes two days is a quick turn around. But we have to start our best players unless there is a doubt about their injury, ability to play two games in such a short space of time or their fitness.

Stop flapping because it's not rocket science. To change the team by three or four is again stupidity and will upset the balance of the team.

Why do the smaller teams usually drop away from the top in the second half of the season? Because of injuries, bookings and tiredness. We don't need to make massive changes to the team but we need to rotate throughout the season to keep players fresh, if we hope to finish strongly.

Smaller teams drop away because they don't have the quality to replace their first teamers when they tire or get injured, we do.

So if our players are tired for watford we should replace them?
