For me most interesting game in terms of team selection. Poch rarely rotates a lot but do we feel we need some fresh legs? I guess he won't swap too many, but I think we should give our squad members a shot to prove what they can do.
I guess two games are too much for Dembele and I'd prefer to save him.

Poch will never line that team up but I'd be tempted to put out a few:

-----------------------------Lloris----------------------
Trippier-----Alderweireld-----Vertonghen----Rose-
---------------Bentaleb--------Carroll----------------
------Son----------------Lamela-------------Chadli---
----------------------------Kane--------------------------

Subs: Vorm, Wimmer, Dier, Mason, Eriksen, Alli, Onomah

If Dembele is okay give him a place on the bench.

Obviously this will be a really tough game, but I hope we give Capoue the run-around in midfield and show him what he could have won if he'd bought into the pressing and work ethic required of a Pochettino team.

lloris
walker toby jan davies
dier mason
son dembele alli
kane

bench: vorm, wimmer, trippier, bentaleb, lamela, eriksen, chadli

I cannot say the back 4 ran themselves into the ground vs norwich today, so since it isn't broken, don't try to "fix" it. get mason in there and see what the front 4 need in the second half with subs... no relief for dier, no relief for kane... Damn the Torpedoes!! Full steam ahead!!! :jimlad::hungry:

Same team except maybe Son or Carroll for Eriksen. I think Davies would be a calmer head against their forward threat although Rose might be well up for a physical match up

Same team but maybe Son in for Eriksen all depends on 'how they arrive with their condition' lol

Son for Eriksen
Rose for Davies
Bentaleb for Dembele if he doesnt recover in time.

Others to remain unchanged

Think we'll change full backs,
max one more change beside that.
Guess we'll have to wait and see if Dembele is out too

Dembele out is a big miss if it happens, as we saw against Newcastle. It's just such a mental drain for the opposition when they see a guy they know they just can't get the ball off receiving a pass...

Rest Dier, hopefully we can put Mason in his place. Different style player, but can do a good job vs Watford methinks.

Also start Son or Carroll in the 3 behind the striker.

What I'd like to see:
Hugo in goal
Trippier-Toby-Jan-Rose
---- Dier ------- Bentaleb
Lamela----Eriksen---Son
-------------Kane----------

I really don't want a hobbled Dembele going into this crucial run of fixtures. I think Bentaleb will relish the chance and can provide the bite and pressing to bring intensity back. And though Alli is possibly the most athletically gifted player we have, I don't want to run him into the ground, he's proven that he isn't great without rest. Let's keep his confidence high and bring him on as a sub.

Lloris
Trippier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Mason Dembele
Lamela Alli Son
Kane

Subs: Bentaleb/Dier for Dembele, Carroll for Kane going into the #10, Alli to the left with Son moving up top, Chadli for Alli
Rest Eriksen and Dier and try to keep Lamela and Dembele fresh.

I think we will change our full backs and maybe get Son in.

If we start Carroll against Watford we are going to have a hard time imo

We won't see any changes, I don't know why people were panicking saying we need to rest half the team or certain players can't play back to back games...we're not running a nursery here and as I said we have 6 days until the next match which is plenty recovery time.
