My God pro Winks posts lol. Has it come to this? He doesnt fucking score and he cant defend. He doesnt even get assists so wtf is he actually contributing out there?
Keeping possesion? Yeah. Great. Just what we need. Get him gone as soon as.

I don't know about 'pro' Winks. Just an admission that we've got a shed load of games to come, and that we are going to have to use him. And given that, how best to do it. Personally I don't think he's got a future here, and we definitely should upgrade.

Didn't he lose possession 3/4 times after coming on on Thursday? I'd had a few neck oils, but it looked that way.

Please no resting players. Norwich are fighting for points to stay safe.
By all means sub players off if we are two goals clear but not before
We have 11 fit A teamers, some players like Rodon and Bergwijn might be safe to use as subs
But the others, the quality falls off a cliff with them playing. Time and again these incompetents/serial losers /slackers let us down

Bergwijn for Moura I’d hope, but wouldn’t be surprised nor disappointed if the first 11 remains unchanged

I quite liked the 3-5-2 that we finished with on Thursday. If we are looking to rest a couple with Rennes in mind on Thursday (and only if we are looking to do that) then I can see a situation where the MF three is Skipp - Winks - Hojberg. Norwich is the sort of match that we could sneak Winks into without doing too much damage (?), especially in a MF with both Skipp and Hojbjerg.

We are clearly going to have to use Winks over the next month, so it's no use casting him out. We just have to give him the right protection so that he can do the things that he is actually decent at.
Skipp, winks and holberg? Good lord.

Read the bit in and around the brackets. I'm not asking for that midfield. I said I liked the 3-5-2 shape, and given Lo Celso is injured and NDombele seems to be frozen out there doesn't seem to be anyone except Winks who could make up the 3, **but only if Conte is looking to rest players**. I'd much rather see the same team as Leeds (except Sanchez), but also accept that those 11 can't be flogged Sun/Thurs until the new year.

We can't sign anyone for a month (it'll be nearer two by the time everything is done) so at some point, like it or not, Winks is going to have to play - especially since Conte appears to willing to at least bring him off the bench. My own view is get rid on Jan 1st if anyone offers us a grab bag of cheese and onion crisps for him.

I wouldn't mind seeing 1 or 2 changes for each game over the next month, but keeping a core team from game to game.

I don't want to see 8 or 9 changes to the team from one game to the next.

I personally hope we fuck off the ECL. Having clear midweeks will enable us to make massive strides under Conte and also allow him to work with 13 or 14 players until he gets better reinforcements.
I totally agree. However, not taking the ECL seriously will send the wrong message to the team. I think Conte will probably sees it as a hindrance, but you only get a winning mentality through winning games.

I can totally understand if Conte isn't bothered about ECL. It's not the way I see it, but of course he's in charge and completely has my respect as a manager.
So if we go weak v Rennes then I will try not to go crazy if we go out ?
Gonna be a testing time for all of us, but if we are still in ECL in January so hope we get some quality in, so we have a realistic chance of a trophy and top 6

Same team, no doubt. I’d be surprised if there were any in forced changes. Which is cool, continuity etc.

#Conte’nuity

(I’m pleased with that one)
