I’m not sure how we will line up for this and not sure it will matter that much when they will be playing with 12 men. They’ll get another dodgy pen and it will be brushed over and forgotten about three days later like every week.

The day I see Bale running around for us again... I think I will cry. It's coming so soon, I just cannot wait any longer.

Not sure if anyone has posted, but the guardian and other outlets are saying Son is fit and expected to start. Jose mind games are so good I was convinced he'd still be injured and took him out my fantasy

I think we will go low block to nullify the United pace. Id go...

Lloris

Doherty
Sanchez
Dier
Regullon

Holjberg
Lo celso

Son
Lamela
Moura

Kane

If son doesn't make it id push lo celso forward and bring in winks.

I love N'dombele but I'm not sure his fitness is going to hold up here

Agree but I think it will be Winks instead of Lo Celso.
I'm presuming Lo Celso was taken off at HT to protect him. I think Mou knows the importance of this game for Spurs and on a personal level, it would be a great game to have our preferred midfield 3 together for the first time.

I think he was taken off due to a slight injury, he looked a bit off after he scored his 2nd

I think Jose will have has too much pride to lose this one!
Think prefer Toby to Sanchez for this one otherwise agree with line up
Hopefully, I just have a bad feeling but I had the same feeling before the Chelsea Carabao cup game and that worked out ok :) fingers crossed.

I think Jose will go with a 352 like he did Chelsea. Unfortunately, i think he’ll start Winks over Ndombele.

What I think:
Lloris
Sanchez Dier Davies
Doherty Hojbjerg Winks Reguilon
Lo Celso
Kane Son

Wouldn't mind a bit of a shithouse formation. Plus I really liked the way we looked at the end of the Haifa match with both Davies and Reguilon on the pitch in a 3.

So I'd go with a 5-3-2 or a 3-5-2 (whatever you'd want to call it). As I think it completely nullifies everything United want to do. I can't see them getting their front 3 in behind against a back 5 and we can easily match their midfield 3 with 3 of our own. Then Kane + someone else up top will still give their defense a lot to worry about.

I'll admit it could make for a turgid match but I genuinely think it could give us our best chance at success so I'd rather win ugly versus our rivals rather than play pretty.

Something like:
Lloris
Davies - Alderweireld - Dier
Reguilon - Ndombele - Hojbjerg - Lo Celso - Doherty
Kane - Lamela
If Gio is unfit then go with Winks or Sissoko. Lamela is also interchangeable with a different attacker. Hopefully Gio is healthy enough to start and Son is healthy enough to make the bench.

I can't really see us losing with that formation other than dodgy pens which admittedly seems like a foregone conclusion, but should we be you can easily take off Davies for an attacker.

To be fair he hasn't given any away, he's had 2 incredibly harshly ones ruled against him. It could have been anyone conceding them.

I think Aurier was unfortunate with a few of the penalties he gave away too. People forget though, with the passing of time.

If in a low block against pacy forwards, I’d rather start at RB with Serge. Doherty isn’t quite there yet to be dependable against the likes of Rashford and Martial.
