I do wonder if there is a tipping point with Hugo?? What does he have to do, how many points must he cost us before he is dropped for his own good let alone that of the team.

Obviously we don't know how Forster is doing in training but how much worse can he be?

He cost us a goal against Brentford and hasn't filled me with confidence in any of his appearances for us.

Im not gonna lie - first time in a very very very long time that im so happy and relieved we are not playing this weekend. Feels like a weight off our shoulders and we can just enjoy a less stressful and peaceful weekend. I feel giddy about it.

I love Spurs but the 'break' is a Godsend.

On the bright side, they didn't fuck up our weekend.

Conte won't play the back 4 that I keep putting in these threads every week, so to stick with his back three, I would go with this:

Forster
Romero - Sanchez - Lenglet
Doherty - Sarr - Bentancur - Perisic
Deki - Kane - Richy​

Now, before I get a load of disagrees for putting Sanchez in the middle of the back 3, I thought back to when we played a back 3 successfully under Poch - Sanchez played in the middle of Toby and Jan. Now, I get that those two were Rolls Royce CBs, but I still think this can work.

Sanchez in the middle to win headers and defend (what he is generally good at). Leave it to Romero and Lenglet to do the passing. Dier has been so poor of late - he loses concentration and often doesn't defend well enough. Why not try this?

We shouldn't expect much variation from the 523 we always play, but hopefully Conte does apply some analysis of recent weeks and gives Lloris and Son a little time on the bench. Forster and Richarlison surely deserve a go given the poor form of the other two. I'd also like to see Bissouma much more involved and could help us get even more from the excellent Bentancur.

Only 17 points behind Arsenal with a game extra played. They'll start shitting it if we can pick up this win at Craven Cottage

I hope people know I am a huge Royal fan - and I would keep him over Doherty - but this match-up seems more set-up for an attacking WB, than a defensive WB.

So, while I have no problem if Royal starts, I would lean towards Doherty if he is fit/healthy.

I did opt for Sess on the other side in my line-up - but that was mostly to give him a chance against his former club - maybe a little added motivation.
