Summer Transfer Wish List - 2017

Lacazette is only on around £65k a week at Lyon, which we could easily improve on. Of course that's not to say other clubs could more than double it without batting an eyelid, but we could still offer him an attractive salary that's an improvement on what he's already earning.

Still, it's an unlikely transfer for the simple reason I don't think Pochettino is overly keen on him. Certainly not to the extent of persuading Levy to fork out £40m.

We could improve his wage but it's about the competition they could improve it further.

Mane was earning around that at Southampton and pretty much doubled his wage at Liverpool.

The one thing I think we're short of is creativity. We're going to get more and more bus parkers, where they sit deep and all out pace doesn't work. When I looked at this before, we seemed to have at least 2 players for every role (admittedly that was in a 4231) other than Eriksen's. If he's injured or off form, who's going to produce that creative spark?
Yes, we could maybe do with a new striker but we do have plenty of players that can score goals. And Davies isn't an ideal left wing back so maybe we could try N'Koudou/N'Jie there - hell, even Lamela. But my priority would be a creative ACM.

Krychowiak has hardly played for PSG since making a big-money move there last Summer. He was superb for Sevilla last term. Apart from Winks, we have little depth in central midfield, especially if Dier continues as one of three at the back. It's the one area we could really do with bolstering today, as we can't afford to lose either Wanyama or Dembele to injury.

Sessegnon and if he's ready to cover Rose we can let Davies go (although I do like him) - This is an upgrade looking to the longer term.
I really like the look of Harry Maguire and Hull will probably get relegated - Wimmer back to Germany.
Davy Klaassen would be great. He's a winner and we have a great relationship with Ajax. He's been there since he was a kid and he's the sort of age they often sell on for a bit of money. Don't need to let anyone in his position go but the rest of the season may help Poch make a few decisions - Will Sissoko cut it or do we cash in? I have a feeling Sonny's not here for the long term and we could get good money for him.
Janssen will be with us next season.

Why are people so keen to sell Davies? He's a solid and dependable cover for Rose, and very rarely lets us down.

But sure, lets swap him for some flavour of the month teenager....

It is exactly the same situation with Trippier, the guy has been superb whenever he's come into the team, KWP has done nothing to show he's ready to take on his role. Trippier is vastly more experienced, to trade one for the other would be a massive downgrade.

We've currently got the best full back options in the league. We aren't going to throw that away on a whim.

If people think MoPo is going to gamble with the team like that, then they've been playing too much Football Manager.

Agreed, there are times when we need a bit more pace but it's times like today that it wasn't what we needed. We needed the quality that matched the brain today. We play extremely well as a team, maybe arguably only Chelsea play better than us as a unit but we lack that individual brilliance in the right areas of the pitch still too, the type that doesn't always need the rest of the team to be playing well.

We need pace full backs to back up Walks and Rose. KWP could br the one for walks? We need someone in for Davis. The way we play our full backs give us the width and pace. We need an Isco type, and a Sturridge type forward to back up Kane, along with Janssen. A good left-sided CH to cover Jan.

It is so obvious that it won't happen.

we need Someone who can beat players, yet have the ability to unlock a bus parking side. Sadly they cost alot, yet if we didnt rush for the sissoko deal, who knows. Sissoko,janssen alone combined fees could've bought a game changer

-Mental strength
-Doesn't throw toys out their prams when we suffer a setback
-Not over expectant or spoilt
-Realistic
-Patient
-Knows how to spell our player's names

Best part is that we don't need to spend any money.

Well I keep seeing that we need a striker with pace. We need a striker with intelligence. Raw pace isn't going to help.
