Lacazette is only on around £65k a week at Lyon, which we could easily improve on. Of course that's not to say other clubs could more than double it without batting an eyelid, but we could still offer him an attractive salary that's an improvement on what he's already earning.
Still, it's an unlikely transfer for the simple reason I don't think Pochettino is overly keen on him. Certainly not to the extent of persuading Levy to fork out £40m.
We could improve his wage but it's about the competition they could improve it further.
Mane was earning around that at Southampton and pretty much doubled his wage at Liverpool.
