My Combined Team

Lloris
Alderweireld Luiz Azpilicueta
Walker Kante Alli Rose
Pedro Kane Hazard
Courtois, Dier, Vertonghen, Moses, Wanyama, Eriksen, Costa

I could see Costa for Kane, but I think Costa is such a ****, I could not put him in for Kane.

For me, their goals to game ratio is very similar (Costa's possibly marginally better?), but Kane offers so much more for the team as a whole. Plus you don't have that lingering worry at the back of your mind that he'll lose his rag and get sent off every 5 minutes.

Chelsea fans will say he hit the nail on the head but the only thing I've seen him hit is Ulrika

Rose is MILLIONS of miles ahead of Alonso, he's being a complete pillock with that choice.

In a back three or four Vertonghen is a far better defender than any of theirs and in a back three (not four) Dier is also better than what they have.

Rest of team is very much open for debate, I personally would always choose Kane as love him but can see how Costa would also appeal (boo hiss spit etc).

Tell Stan our players have not got to get in the Chelsea side. They simply need to smash the hell out of them tonight. And we will.

I mean seriously how does an idiot like this get a paid job in the media ?

Been wondering the same thing for quite some time. Sometimes I think he just says whatever comes to his brain. Or whatever he has in his head that u can call a "brain"

Wanyama over Kante? Really? I like Wanyama but there is a significant gulf in quality between those two.

It depends on the formation. Their 3-4-3:

Lloris
Azpi - Alderweireld - Luiz
Moses - Kante - Eriksen - Rose
Costa - Kane - Hazard
Our 4-2-3-1:

Lloris
Azpi - Alderweireld - Luiz - Rose
Kante - Matic
Hazard - Alli - Eriksen
Costa
If it was just based on this season then unfortunately you would have to go Costa over Kane.

Luiz is also contentious, but he's been excellent so far this season and is much better than what many people give him credit for.

Significant gulf in quality between Kante and Wanyama you say?

Fuckin owned him tonight, you might want to have a rethink on that comparison.

Completely agree, mate. He was immense and Kante completely anonymous. To be fair, that judgement was made on their body of work over the last season and a half.

I.hear you, I.just really rate Wanyama and as well as Kante has done I think some of the praise has been a touch OTT. Clearly done very well though but obviously I still stand by preferring Wanyama.
